When Namco re-launched the classic Pac Man as a 3-D PlayStation game, they kept referring to the character as a 1980s "celebrity." So we had the idea of Pac Man literally moving in on the turf of other quirky celebrities from the 1980s (Mr. T) and 1990s (Verne Troyer). But these Beverly Hills residents aren't so sure Pac Man's resurgence is such a good thing for the neighborhood.
